About the founder:

Mr. Lalit Advani, started Gladwyn Engineering Co. in 1964, for manufacturing mixers, filter presses, distillation equipment & evaporators. Since it's inception GEC has concentrated & specialised in mixers which are now it's main product.  

The founder is an associate member of The Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers.

He is the author of the book, Horse Power Tables for Agitator Impellers (published by Gulf Publishing Company, U.S.A.)

(19992000/001) [BASIC] NEWAGB2: Program designs agitators for Blending & Solids Suspension. Motor & Gear Box selection is also done. Data of Radicon Worm Gear Boxes is included.

(19992000/002) [BASIC] SHAFTSE1: Program designs agitator shafts by Gladwyn method & by EEAU handbook no.9 method. Cantilevered shafts as well as shafts with bottom steady bearings can be handled.

(19992000/003) [BASIC] PROSHAFT: Program checks the specified shaft of propeller agitators for stresses & critical speed.

(19992000/004) [BASIC] GEARLA1: Program calculates diameter of 4 bladed PBT & level of agitation for Blending & Solids Suspension, given power input & speed of agitator.
